A Forgotten Blog

Of course my brain is Covid dead...and certainly aging....so I forgot about this blog
Until, I found myself posting on my personal site, how improv is my favorite way of quilting.
Took some scraps and random four patches....decided to snowball one block..Nope that did not work, so I snowballed two sides of the plain block. I had an idea ahead of time on the border and the fabric...Nope, that did not happen.  However, for a baby quilt for outreach.  I feel it is just fine.
It is not quilted yet.   Somehow  it was so satisfying to make.  As I look at it on the design wall, I feel it is comfy and cuddly looking.... xo Diane

Nice little quilt top. It's fun to just play around with fabric and ideas and then it's a bonus to sew up something so sweet.

It sounds like you had fun making this and it is a lovely little quilt. I think we are all finding stuff slipping through the cracks at the moment.

Your quilt has such an old-fashioned vibe. Just lovely. It's fun to see what we can make with our extra blocks and scraps, isn't it? Thanks for sharing.

I believe, very strongly, that the term "covid brain" is a real thing. As is the ability to have CoVid every 4-5 months. Why? Because I know my body and it was sick in February, July and November. It wasn't allergies, flu, or pneumonia, and it certainly wasn't the common cold. I'm about done with the coronavirus but I guess it's not my will be done. I sure hope that every time I've gotten it, someone else came to the reality of it and is taking all steps to protect others. Okay, I'm off my soapbox. Maybe.
That little quilt is absolutely adorable. You've done a wonderful job. A little girl somewhere is going to love it! Have a great week!
