I have several ideas for flowers on quilts but haven't had time or space to work on them yet. There are so many tops and blocks hanging around I pulled this one out and forced myself to work on the quilting. And it came out better than expected - which often seems to be the case after I've worried myself into a tizzy.

While it started before this challenge, it is my first flowery finish.

I love how this one came out...I see myself as the upside down rose...hahaha hugs, Julierose
I read in detail on your blog Ann about this quilt and will say again here that it is a delight! I have not gotten around to taking up the challenge from Kaja even though I had intended to do so. I wonder if I have time before the end of the year to pull something out of the bag! I made a pieced bloom wall hanging a few years ago, the flowers very much like yours here, I I should have been more organized!
I really really like this quilt - the colors AND the flowers. You did a wonderful job. Congratulations.
Thanks to you all, Julie Rose, Maureen, and Julie. I like this quilt, too - both the theme and the colors. It’s so good to have it done and in use. This finish feels a bit sneaky to me. I have some many ideas to include flowers but the time has flown and here we are at the end of the year. Even if we don’t create a new one now, we can always use the idea when we have time. Kaja and I added a page to this blog that lists the previous prompts.
Your Rose Quilt is a beauty Ann. The roses are lovely.
And that's a good idea putting in a 'previous prompts' page.
I love your work...beautiful flowers...
Such a beautiful finish! I've loved this one since the beginning, and you finished it up perfectly.:)
