Just some thoughts. . .

Sunrise

I find it interesting that the improv challenge for us right now is hourglass blocks.  An hourglass means time is passing.  It seems time is the thing most of us have in abundance right now.

Sunset

The hourglass reminds me that even though I might currently have lots of time, I need to make sure I don't waste it.  It's a gift.

I still need to get busy and figure out what to make for this challenge.  Hope something comes to me soon.

It does seem apt, doesn't it. I am provisionally calling my hourglasses 'Time Slips Away' as a reminder to myself to make the most of it when I can.

Who'd have thought our prompt would be so... timely? We need to remember not to waste it.

What mountain is that in the last picture? Just off my left shoulder the full moon is rising golden in the dark night sky... well just yesterday it was full, what do you call it now? Have a wonderful day!

Stunning views Robin, absolutely beautiful and nothing beats nature in my book!!
I'm working on a traditional hourglass, begun not for the challenge but just because it was a special memory sort of quilt, With two months left for this challenge hope to create an Hourglass quilt improv style.

Thanks for sharing peaceful thoughts Robin. I've pieced a few more hour glass blocks to add to my parts department. I've got a plan sketched out for final design, so far so good. I'm getting used to a new tablet keyboard arrangement.I'm about ready to try a post on it. I'll be watching for your hourglass blocks.

Robin, I am grateful that you posted this. I sway between worrying frantically about not having enough time and wasting hours in idleness. Waste or worry, I don't know which is worse. Perhaps this quarantine has my bipolar disorder on high alert--a knee jerk reaction of not knowing whether to fight or flee.
Quilt. I'll just quilt till it's all over.
